Ingredients

  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets.
  2. Toast pecans for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy.
  5. Mix in eggs and vanilla, then gradually add dry ingredients.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
  7. Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
