Description

Protein chocolate chip cookies combine the classic taste of chocolate chip cookies with the nutritional benefits of added protein.


Ingredients

Scale

    • 1 cup almond flour

    • 1/4 cup vanilla or chocolate protein powder

    • 1/2 tsp baking powder

    • 1/4 tsp salt

    • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

    • 1/4 cup maple syrup or coconut sugar

    • 1 large egg

    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine wet ingredients.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop dough onto baking sheet, flatten slightly, and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Cool before serving.
