Instructions

- Beat in the egg, molasses, and vanilla extract until smooth.

- 2- Chill Dough:
- Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to prevent spreading and enhance flavor.
- 3- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- 4- Shape and Coat:
- Roll chilled dough into 1-inch balls and coat in granulated sugar. Place on prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- 5- Bake:
- Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Cool cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
