Instructions
- Prepare the Dough:
- Cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and salt, mixing well.
- Gradually mix in flour, followed by Andes baking chips. Add green food coloring if desired.
- Chill the Dough:
- Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes to prevent spreading during baking.
- Shape the Cookies:
- Roll dough into 1¼-inch balls and place them on a lined baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
- Bake:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake cookies for 8–10 minutes until set but not browned.
- Roll in Powdered Sugar:
- Allow cookies to cool for 5–10 minutes, then roll in powdered sugar while still warm. Roll again after they cool completely for a snowy appearance.
