Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 10 oz Andes Creme de Menthe Baking Chips
  • Green food coloring (optional, for a festive touch)
  • Additional powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:

    • Gradually mix in flour, followed by Andes baking chips. Add green food coloring if desired.
  2. Chill the Dough:
    • Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes to prevent spreading during baking.
  3. Shape the Cookies:
    • Roll dough into 1¼-inch balls and place them on a lined baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  4. Bake:
    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake cookies for 8–10 minutes until set but not browned.
  5. Roll in Powdered Sugar:
    • Allow cookies to cool for 5–10 minutes, then roll in powdered sugar while still warm. Roll again after they cool completely for a snowy appearance.
