Description

Ingredients

  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 45 candy bars, chopped (e.g., Snickers, Twix, M&M’s, Reese’s)

Instructions

  1. Make the Dough:
    • Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy (3–4 minutes).
    • Mix in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract.
    • Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt, stirring until just combined.
    • Fold in the chopped candy pieces.
  2. Chill the Dough:
    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to enhance texture and prevent spreading.
  3. Bake the Cookies:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized portions, leaving space between them.
    • Bake for 11–13 minutes until edges turn golden.
  4. Cool and Serve:
    • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
