Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
    • Cream the butter and ½ cup of confectioners’ sugar until light and fluffy.
    • Add vanilla extract and salt, then gradually mix in flour and pecans until a soft dough forms.
  2. Chill (Optional):
    • For firmer cookies, chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  3. Shape and Bake:

  4. Coat in Powdered Sugar:
